Q. Why has it taken so long for the book to become available?
A. When I began writing Preparing Ourselves for the Great Shift: A Guide to Cosmic and Global Aspects of the Coming Dimensional Shift in Human Consciousness, I released attachment to outcome, asking that, whatever happened, it serve the highest good of humanity and Mother Earth. Spirit has led me on a merry chase during the researching, writing, and editing of the book. As a scientist who was used to doing things in a logical, orderly sequence, I had to get used to the nonlinear way in which the manuscript evolved. It had so many starts and stops that several times I wondered if it would ever be completed. Even when the first draft was completed the merry chase continued with numerous delays and detours in the final editing (you can find out about some of these detours by visiting my Earth Energy Healing website, which Spirit has often given a higher priority to).
Q. When will it be available?
A. From December 2007 to March 2008 Spirit put completion of the book on hold. As of April 2008 final editing resumed. Chapters 1, 2, 6, 7, 8 and Appendices A, B and C have been completed and are available to donors to the Great Shift Foundation. Completion of Chapters 3, 4 and 5 will take place at a pace to be determined by Spirit.
Q. Will a paper version be published?
A. When the final eBook is ready, it will be available for purchase from the website, with all proceeds continuing to go to the Great Shift Foundation. At that time an option for ordering a Quick-Print paper copy will be available. At some point a trade paperback version will become available.
Q. What about Volume II?
A. Good question. I honestly don't know whether it will every be completed. You can read summaries of the planned chapters on the Summary page of this website. The How Can I Participate? page reproduces parts of Chapter 11. Eventually I will probably post Chapters 9 (How We Are Being Helped Make the Shift (I): Personal Assistance, the New Children, and Adult Incarnational Assistance) and the first half of Chapter 14 (Many Paths, Common Elements (I): Finding Your Own Truth, Symptoms of Awakening, Emotional and Physical Healing), and other chapters as I find time to write them.
